The Academy of the Percussive Arts
It is our mission at the Academy of the Percussive Arts to provide every student the encouragement, knowledge, performance skills, and experience needed to succeed in their musical goals. Furthermore, we are committed to providing a positive artistic approach to music through the blending of our knowledge, skills, and experience.
The Academy of the Percussive Arts utilizes a wide range of instruments to develop, hone, and challenge students. We not only teach a large variety of drums, but also timpani, marimbas, and a host of other percussive instruments to create and maintain a well rounded understanding of percussion, not just "drumming".
